How to Beat Leofrith
As mentioned before, the boss battle with Leofrith comes in two phases. Before you go to confront the boss, make sure you have enough healing items that can carry you to the end of the fight.
In the first phase, your strategy should be to be on the defensive. This can be done by parrying Leofrith’s attacks by using your shield at the right moment. When we say the right moment, you have to first wait for the indication of his attacks which is marked by an orange glow. Parrying the attack will not only keep you safe. But most importantly, it will deplete Leofrith’s stamina.
One of the attacks in this stage cannot be defended with your shield, which in other words means that you cannot parry it. Your only solution for this is to dodge away and be on the move. Your counter-attack during this phase should be to stay away and quickly attack with your bow. This will allow Leofrith to resume attacking you, further depleting his stamina.
The second phase of the battle is indicated by the barrage of attacks Leofrith produces in the battle. This phase also begins when Leofrith’s stamina is completely depleted, which means that you should drop being defensive and face him with your own attacks. Your target here is to parry Leofrith’s attack and then counterattack when you get a brief opening.
