How to Initiate Raids

Starting Raids is a pretty simple task. First, you must get near a location that can be raided first. These locations are marked on the map with a red axe and once you complete the raids, the icon turns white. Throughout the world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, there are tons of areas where you can loot and pillage for supplies in order to expand your settlement in the game. Make sure that you are of the required power level before you raid the locations because if the Power Level requirement is too high, you will not be able to complete the raid as tougher enemies will be present there to defend the locations.

There are two ways to initiate a raid. If you are approaching by ship, when you are near the shore of the location, the icon will appear automatically on the screen and you can simply press the key in order to begin the raid. Make sure that your boat is facing the shore, or you will not be able to initiate the raid. The second way to initiate these raids is from the land. Come closer to the location and then select raids from the character wheel. This will call your clan and will initiate the raid.

Completing the Raids

The next step is to complete the raid. You should first try to kill all of the enemies in that location because it will make your raid much easier. However, your main goal in a raid is not to kill the enemies but it is to open the large golden supply chests and get the loot inside them. For a raid to complete, you must find and empty all the golden chests and collect the loot inside them. You can complete the raids even if some of the enemies are left alive but your clan will eventually wipe out all of them even if you ignore them. Empty all of the chests, kill all the enemies, and loot their bodies as well. Once done, get back on your ship and sail away with your clan with your loot.
