Ubisoft has just released a new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla story trailer which brings a new look at Eivor and their quest for glory. In addition, a new podcast documentary series is also announced which is called Echoes of Valhalla.

Starting with the story trailer, we get a new look at Eivor, who we already know is a fierce raider and the protagonist of the game. Whether you play as a male or female version of Eivor, we get a little backstory in the life of Eivor.

Eivor, a fierce Viking raider torn between their duty to their brother Sigurd and a personal quest for glory. Driven from Norway by endless wars and dwindling resources, Eivor’s clan must secure a future among the kingdoms of England. During their journey, Eivor will come across the Hidden Ones and face powerful figures including Saxon kings and the warmongering sons of Ragnar Lothbrok, as well as a mysterious, growing threat that could determine England’s destiny.

On the other hand, Ubisoft also announced the Echoes of Valhalla podcast documentary series that will unveil the historical background of the game. In the podcast, Vikings tell their own story to give a new voice to the warriors who have traveled and shaped the world as we see now.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is all set to release on November 17, 2020, on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Epic Game Store and the Uplay Store. The game is also going to launch on the next-gen consoles, namely the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Players who buy the game digitally on their PS4 and Xbox One, will get a free upgrade on the next-gen console when they launch.
