As the release date gets closer and closer, more pictures of different cards have started to pop up on the Internet. The latest picture is of The ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090 which features a triple fan design.

The newest photo leak of the ROG Strix RTX 3090 reveals the final design of the upcoming flagship card of the RTX 3000 series based on the Ampere architecture. The new picture is the same render as a leaked photo back in July. The image posted by Videocardz shows the fan side of the supposed ROG Strix RTX 3090.

From the picture, it looks like that the e-card is slightly thicker than the two PCIe slots which total to 2.5 Slots. The leaked picture shows that the ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090 has a massive 2.7-slot design with three fans.

The beefy cooler may result in ASUS pushing their RTX 3090 way beyond the boost clock of the founder edition card. According to the leaks, the base founder card will have a clock speed of 1695 MegaHertz.

It is reported that ASUS is set to reveal its RTX 3090 graphics card this week. The same cooler design will likely be used for the RTX 3080 graphics card as well since both share the same board and GPU chip. The RTX 3090 and 3080 will be the flagship cards of the RTX 3000 series and they will be using the Ampere GA102 GPU chip to deliver massive performance gains over the Turing based TU102 GPU chip.

The NVIDIA GA102-300 is expected to feature 5248 CUDA cores. This is about a 20% increase from the RTX 2080Ti. The next-generation Ampere GeForce RTX 3000 graphics cards are expected to be announced on 1st September on a special live event planned by NVIDIA.
