New Character Reveal: The Dark Urge
If you have been following the official accounts of Larian, the studio has been leaving behind clues leading to the reveal of their final playable Origin character in the community-driven murder mystery Blood in Baldur’s Gate. It turned out to be Dark Urge, an imposing dragonborn with alabaster skin and eyes that glared with the piercing gaze of a predator. The Dark Urge is the only fully customizable character in Baldur’s Gate 3, and you can choose their class, appearance, species, and gender based on your own choice.
If you decide to step into the shoes of Dark Urge, you will begin the game with your memory lost after an unfortunate encounter between a parasite tadpole and your brain. From there onwards, there is only an insatiable urge that makes itself known in your subconscious, your deepest thoughts, and in your dialogue options. Dark Urge operates with the motive ‘to murder brutally and indiscriminately’ and while playing as this hero, you will need to indulge in your depraved impulses or attempt to resist them.
The Dark Urge is guided by Sceleritas Fel, voiced by Brian Bowles (narrator in Divinity: Original Sin 2. Fel is a vile and loyal servant who lives only to see the Dark Urge return to its rightful, bloodstained path. His words of encouragement are like poison in your mind, fueling your impulses. Despite all of this bloodlust, you are still a member of the adventuring party heading to Baldur’s Gate, and your party will be there for you always. If you can grow close to your party members, you can even form relationships and romances with them.

Simmons) as two of Baldur’s Gate 3’s central antagonists and the final stream unveiled the third and final protagonist Orin the Red (Maggie Robertson). Orin the Red is a shapeshifting murderess with the goal of painting the city of Baldur’s Gate in blood. You will meet Orin soon in the main story however it will be up to her.
