Untold Games’ epic sci-fi adventure title Beautiful Desolation gets a release date announcement with a trailer for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game has been confirmed to launch next month on May 28, 2021.
The game will be available in digital versions from the game stores of the respective platforms for both consoles.

BEAUTIFUL DESOLATION is an isometric adventure game set in the distant future. Explore a post-apocalyptic landscape, solve puzzles, meet new friends and make powerful enemies, mediate conflicts and fight for your life as you unravel the secrets of the world around you.
The game is created by a small but talented two-person developer team called The Brotherhood. Beautiful Desolation was initially planned for a release on PC last year but garnered multiple awards for its distinct art, story, and setting, prompting the developers to release the game on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch consoles. The game is now fully revamped for controllers where you will be able to experience this post-apocalyptic Africa sci-fi adventure.
In Beautiful Desolation, players will be thrown into a futuristic, alternate-reality South Africa dominated by advanced alien technology that’s both revered and reviled. From exploring, solving puzzles, to making key dialogue choices, players will have to be prepared to face tough decisions in a sci-fi setting left pretty much untouched by other games. From thriving African sci-fi villages to crumbling tropical cities. Mutated forests and bone-dry ocean beds – all beautifully rendered in 2D isometric art.
