Wakefield Interactive and Whitehorn Digital have announced that their puzzle adventure game Where the Bees Make Honey is launching this March. Where the Bees Make Honey is a puzzle game about reflection and nostalgia and is coming out on PS4, Xbox One and PC via Steam and Kartridge.

In Where the Bees Make Honey, players will experience a story about reflecting different moments from a childhood. These are played and experienced from an adult perspective and it is full of nostalgia. The experience is dreamy, ethereal and everything is very thoughtfully crafted. Players experience everything from an adult perspective.

The main character in the game is called Sunny and she an adult who is reflecting on the times when she was in her early ages. The main transition period happens when Sunny is at her workplace and she gets to a crossroads with what to do next in her life.

The game features first-person perspective and both third-person perspective. Each sequence has its own unique gameplay mechanic. For a better understanding, check out the game’s launch trailer below.

As you can see in the trailer that the game is not bound to only one play style. As the developers call it, the playable vignettes allow for the game to transition into each season. This helps in increased focus and better storytelling and player engagement with the world of the game. These vignettes offer an additional perspective of the season they precede.

The gameplay also varies considerably the season, vignettes and moments. It is truly a very unique take on a puzzle game and it certainly has us intrigued to try it out when the game launches next month. You can check out some screenshots of Where the Bees Make Honey below.
