Warning: Demos ahead! It is time for Steam Next Fest again and we have been digging into tons of new demos for you. Despite the event officially kicking off on February 24, 2025, tons of amazing demos are already live on Steam, and you can head over there and try them out right now. While there is no easy way to make a list since every demo is something on its own, we have managed to gather some amazing demos that you really need to give a shot during the upcoming Steam Next Fest. February 2025 Steam Next Fest will start on February 24, 2025, and it will remain live until March 3, 2025, giving you plenty of time to experience these amazing demos. Let’s begin with the list.

Scaravan 66

Developed and published by Lithic Entertainment Inc., Scaravan 66 is an upcoming high-octane car combat roguelike. In this unique roguelike, you will jump behind the wheel as Lucky, as she battles the Devil and her goonies. Lucky is sentenced to an eternity of reaping souls, and you must become strong enough to defeat the Devil in a heated battle. Every battle you lose, you come back stronger with upgrades and each run will be a unique battle thanks to the game’s roguelike nature.

Katanaut

Developed and published by Voidmaw, Katanaut is a fast-paced action-roguelike that blends fluid combat and cosmic horror. In Katanaut, you play as Naut who is stuck aboard a massive space station whose netizens have transformed into cosmic horrors. Featuring soul-like combat, you will slash, dodge and wield powerful abilities by downloading them to create the ultimate version of yourself and try to penetrate the depths of the space station.

Delverium

Developed and published by Sagestone Games, Delverium is a cozy survival sandbox adventure that is aimed at couch co-op. Playable with up to three other players, you will explore, build, farm, craft , and fight your way to uncover the secret of the invading ‘Faults’ and restore stability to the land. Delverium’s world is procedurally generated, and you will spend time taking on high-risk dungeons as well. The greater the peril, the higher the reward.

Windward Horizon

Developed and published by Tasharen Entertainment Inc., Windward Horizon is an upcoming open-world naval RPG set in the 17th century in which you will get to live your life on the sea. You will trade, complete quests, and battle with other ships. You begin your journey as a young, unaffiliated captain but you grow into the ultimate ship captain as you tussle with different faction leaders, form alliances, and tame the seas. Every time you step out into the ocean, you will see a different procedurally generated world which means that all of the games will be a unique experience for you.

The public demo for Windward Horizon will go live on February 24, 2025, and you will be able to download it from its official Steam page.

Developed and published by VoxRay Games, Inc., Voxile is an upcoming open-world survival game in which you will explore raytraced voxel lands. You will complete different quests and craft, loot, build, destroy, and shoot your way to the top of the food chain. The game supports both solo and co-op gameplay allowing you freedom to shape your voxel adventure according to your own liking.

ALARA Prime

If you love shooters, this next demo is right up your alley. ALARA Prime, developed and published by Fall Damage, is a 4v4v4 competitive tactical first-person shooter where you choose your class, use gadgets, and take on your enemies in different arenas. In each match, one team will defend an Uplink while the other two teams will try to attack and claim the Uplink for their team. Teams take turns defending the Uplink at a new site in every game. The game will be released free-to-play later in 2025, however, if you want to give it a shot now, you can try it out during the Steam Next Fest.

Warfare Legacy Collection

Developed by Con Artist Games, and published by Armor Games Studios, Warfare Legacy Collection is a collection of classic Warfare titles updated for modern hardware. It includes Warfare 1917 and Warfare 1944. Both titles will allow you to experience WW1 and WW2 through strategic battles. You will command a large number of troops, use your strategic vits, and dominate your enemies. The game also allows you to customize your own battlefields in custom battles.

Monaco 2

Developed by Pocketwatch Games and published by Humble Games, Monaco 2 is an upcoming heist game set in the city of Monaco. This co-op heist game will allow you to plan your entire heist to the last bit but if something goes bad, you will need to improvise on the spot and ensure that your heist is successful at all costs. You can invite up to three other players in a local or online multiplayer and complete heists together. The sequel features updated 3D art style, and procedurally generated levels to ensure that everything is fresh and new during each heist.

The Bench

Developed by Italian indie developer VOXEL and published by Noovola, The Bench is a unique, cozy game about an old man who is sitting on a bench in a park. The old man is spending his last days at his favorite park, surrounded by local critters like squirrels, and raccoons, and a lot of his imagination going wild.

KIBORG

Developed and published by Sobaka Studio, KIBORG is a rogue-lite beat ’em up where you step into the shoes of a convict sent to the worst prison in a galaxy where if a criminal dies, they are brought back to life by putting implants in them for a twisted reality show. With a possible way to escape from prison, you are taking part in this reality show in order to find a way out of your 1300-year sentence. You will need to fight through hordes of inmates, build yourself with, and reach the shuttle on the roof of the prison to be free once again.

Roman Triumph: Survival City Builder

Developed by Coreeffect Interactive and published by Forklift Interactive, Roman Triumph: Survival City Builder is an upcoming medieval city builder. In the game, you will manage and grow your city while trying your best to please the gods and survive against the invading barbarians and mythological threats. The game involves the traditional gameplay loop including building your empire, keeping your citizens safe and feeding them, ensuring that your population remains happy, and also preparing your empire for incoming threats. If you love to kill cats as a mouse, Maze Mice, developed and published by TrampolineTales might be the perfect title for you. In this bullet heaven roguelite, time only moves when you move. You will collect dots, level up, choose your desired updates, and avoid cats at all costs. The cats are always chasing after you and your goal is to survive in order to level up and become even more powerful.

Kaya’s Prophecy

Developed by Jeremie & Thibaut and published by Yogscast Games, Kaya’s Prophecy is a deck-builder roguelite in which you will establish your tribe, gather resources, and sacrifice humans to please the god. You will need a good balance between strategic skills and resource management while taking on the mantle of a tribe’s leader. You will collect various cards to synergize the perfect deck while ensuring that your tribe survives the ever-lasting requests of your god.

Monster Mop Up

Developed by Terahard Ltd and published by Yogscast Games, Monster Mop Up is a PowerWash Simulator mashed up with Palworld. Developed by Bossa Studios and published by Humble Games, Lost Skies is an upcoming co-op open-world game featuring a PvE survival adventure. The Steam Next Fest demo will offer around 5-6 hours of gameplay, and you will be able to team up with up to six friends to explore four unique floating islands. These islands are filled with ancient ruins, intricate puzzles, and hidden secrets. You will get to build and customize your very own skyship into a home and warship.
