Developer Zojoi LLC and GrahfMetal have announced the PC launch of Beyond Shadowgate. Beyond Shadowgate is the long-awaited sequel to the classic NES game Shadowgate and it is now available on Steam and GOG for $17.99. Developed by the original creator of the series and a top-tier 8-bit-style adventure studio, the game marks the return of one of the most iconic franchises from the Nintendo era, 35 years after the original’s release.
Shadowgate was originally released back in 1987 with its unique first-person gameplay and challenging, sometimes deadly, puzzles. Now, Beyond Shadowgate expands upon this legacy with a vastly larger world, offering players an adventure five times the size of its predecessor. With over 250 game rooms to explore in the Shadowgate universe, fans will also embark on side quests in the realms of other classic first-person adventures: Déjà Vu and The Uninvited.
