KT Racing and Bigben have announced that they are teaming up with some of the best bike riders for TT Isle of Man 2 – Ride on the Edge. This will ensure that the developer is able to deliver the most realistic simulation possible to the players. Helping out the developers this time around are Davey Todd, one of the best up-and-coming riders, and fastest French rider on the Isle of Man circuit, Julien Tonuitti.
Starting with Davey Todd, he is a young English rider who has an impressive track record when it comes to road racing and boasts an impressive trophy haul for being just 23 years old. He started his preparations for the Isle of Man circuit back in 2018 when he learned the track on his brother’s console and perfected his knowledge of the iconic 60KM circuit.
Due to his passion and continued practice, he was ranked 2nd in the game’s worldwide leaderboards and also became the second-fastest newcomer of all time in the real Isle of Man event. He participated in the race again in 2019 and finished in the top 8 in all categories and achieved the 6th position in the Senior Race. He is now preparing to take part in the 2020 Isle of Man and this year represents a new year full of ambition for him.
The other professional biker joining hands with Bigben and KT Racing is Julien Toniutti who is also collaborating on the game’s production by sharing his experience and impressions to help developers. His feedback will help the developers fine-tune the handling to ensure that the game delivers strikingly realistic simulation and optimize all other aspects of riding physics. He commented:
Competing in the TT is the ultimate dream of any rider. In TT Isle Of Man – Ride on The Edge 2, the aim is to reproduce the sensation of speed and adrenalin, as well as the concentration and control required for any Tourist Trophy rider, while the player sits comfortably in their chair, risk free.
Julien is not new to TT Isle of Man as he has participated in the event 3 times already and in 2018 he set a brand new record for all-time fastest French rider on the Isle of Man circuit. He later received the ‘Fastest French Road Racing Rider’ award at the Paris Motorcycle Show. His collaboration will certainly help the developers in making the TT Isle of Man 2 the best in its class and you will be able to experience the fruit of these collaborations with riders and improvements in the coming weeks.
TT Isle of Man 2 – Ride to the Edge is the second installment in KT Racing and Bigben’s bike racing franchise based on the iconic Isle of Man race. The race takes place on the iconic 61KM course which features 260 bends and offers extremely high-speed sections in the mix as well. The new game will feature brand new physics and a new career mode for players to improve their riding skills while claiming the top spot in the main event.
TT Isle of Man 2 will release on consoles and PC in March 2020. A confirmed release date will be announced later so make sure you keep checking back at GamesHedge.
