Bigben has announced that it is bringing its upcoming games on PC via Epic Games Store. The three main games that the publisher has slated for release in upcoming days include WRC 8, Bee Simulator and Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory. All three games are arriving in the upcoming months on different platforms however the PC versions will be released exclusively on Epic Games Store.
Ever since the release of Epic Games Store last year, many publishers have signed up with the store to release their games exclusively on Epic Games Store. This has not gone well with fans in the past as we have seen the results emerge in the form of fans review-bombing publisher’s other titles on Steam leading them to mostly negative reviews in a matter of hours.
The main reason for publishers moving to Epic Games Store is the fact that it offers more cut back to the developer rather than the store on each sale. Apart from this, different other policies set by Epic Games are also more oriented towards the developers and publishers. This is leading them away from Steam and opting for Epic Games Store for their future releases.
Benoit Clerc, Head of Publishing at Bigben said:
We are very pleased to be reinforcing our Epic Games store offer with a variety of unique games from our catalogue. Our latest offer is comprised of three games that are very different from each other: Bee Simulator, a superb family game; Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory, a tactical CRPG brimming with dark humour; and WRC 8, the official simulation of the FIA World Rally Championship, which will also be the first rally game available on the Epic Games Store.
WRC 8 will release on September 5, 2019, Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory will release on October 3, 2019, while Bee Simulator will arrive on November 14, 2019. All three titles will come out exclusively on Epic Games Store for the PC.
