Infected Mode Coming to Call of Duty Black Ops 4 This Week

Black Ops 4 Infected

Treyarch has announced to bring the fan favorite Infected Mode to Call of Duty Black Ops 4 this week. This classic multiplayer mode is making its way to the PlayStation 4 today, which is where it is making it way first. The mode gets added for the PC and Xbox One players next week after the update on 16 April, 2019.

It was not a surprise that the Infected multiplayer mode was making its way to the game, it is still great to hear that it is going to be available from today. Previously, the developer of the game Treyarch and the publisher Activision had confirmed that the Infected Mode will be making its way in the game soon.

Infected debuts in Black Ops 4 on April 9 with a zombie-themed twist! Fight to survive against an ever-growing team of infected, or join the horde and eliminate your enemies.

So what is the Infected Mode if you are wondering? In this mode, one player gets to be the zombie with their main goal to kill as many normal players, and to infect them to become zombies as well. The Normal players will take the role of humans who have to avoid being infected.

The infected mode has been a Call of Duty staple for years and is great to see that some form of the game is making a return in the latest title of Call of Duty.

Of course, this is not the only thing coming in the update today for this week. There is a new Skills Divisions League Play where Divisions will now reflect each players skill tier to the ranking  system, from Competitors all the way up to the top 2% in Master Division.

Meanwhile, the new Alcatraz map is also being added across all platforms, as opposed to the PlayStation 4 users who got it a week earlier. The new map in Blackout will be available now for both PC and Xbox One players.
