Tuning Fork Challenges
At this stage, you are required to complete three challenges in order to get three Tuning Forks. The challenges are the Clock Challenge, Perk Challenge and the Ghost Challenge.
Clock Challenge: Upon gazing in the stone, you will be shown an image of a Clock. This is where you need to activate the ticking clock in any of the three specific locations. The locations are the Grand Hall, Billiards Room, and Dining Room.
To complete the challenge, you need to stand in the circle for 1 minute to receive your Tuning Fork.
Perk Challenge: Either of the three Stones will also show you an image of a Perk Machine. The Perk Machine can be found at the Wine Cellar, Entrance Hall, Cemetery, and Gardens.
To complete the challenge, you need to go to any location of the Perk Machine, defeat the vampires, where the last vampire will drop your Tuning Fork.

The Werewolf will have glowing weak spots that should be your prime focus in shooting. After you have defeated the Werewolf, you will find the Pack-a-Punch machine at the very end of the Forest, beneath a large tree.
Crafting Silver Bullets
Another task that you have to complete in order to complete Dead of the Night is to acquire Silver Bullets.
Collect Silver Items
Firstly you need to collect Three Silver Objects that can be found in the locations mentioned below:
Silver Trophy – Two Silver Trophies can be found in the Dining Room, where one is on a coffee table just before the stairs, another is in the corner of the large dining room table. The last Silver Trophy can be found in the West Hallway on the floor next to a lounge and table.

Melting Silver Items
After you have collected your material, you now need to melt them in order to later craft them into Silver Bullets. To do this, head to the Wine Cellar and melt the items using the building table that is inside.
Collect Gunpowder Items
In this step you need to craft Gunpowder, and that requires collecting a few resource materials in order for you to craft it. The three items required are Charcoal, Sulfur and Poop.
Charcoal – This item can be found in the Master Bedroom next to the fireplace. Next you can find more in the Billiards Room next to its Fireplace. Lastly, you can find more Charcoal in the Main Hall’s Fireplace.
Sulfur – this item can be found in the Greenhouse Laboratory. There are three locations inside the lab where you can collect the Sulfur from. You can find one sitting on the desk that is located far left in the back of the Lab. More can be found in the desk to the right of the entrance. Finally, the last of the Sulfur can eb taken from the desk that is towards the right of the entrance.
Poop – To collect this item, you can go to the Cemetery where some can be found on the ground near the statue on the right side of the Cemetery. More Poop can be found on the ground behind the tall tree next to the Mausoleum of the Cemetery. Finally you can get more Poop from the Mausoleum where it will be on the ground heading down the staircase on the right side of the Cemetery, where it will be by the fence railing.
Crafting Silver Bullets
With all the materials need to craft the Silver Bullets, head to the crafting table that can be found at the bottom of the staircase in the Library, where you can combine to craft the bullets.
Ballistic Shield
At this stage, you need to craft a Ballistic Shield that required you to find three Shield parts hidden around the map. Below we have listed all the places that you can find the three specific parts that are required.
Part 1 – Window Piece: This piece can be found either at the Study on a small table, OR at the Library sitting on a couch that is blocking the staircase, OR in the Library on a broken wooden shelf.

Part 3 – Counter Piece: this part can be found either in the Dining Room on the floor next to the door, OR in the Dining Room leaning against a pillar before the staircase leading to the Master Bedroom, OR in the East Hallway on a chair of the hallway.
After you have acquired all of the parts required to craft the Ballistic Shield, you need to find a building table that will be in the Smoking Room to craft it.
Unlock Alistair’s Folly
Alistair’s Folly is a weapon that you can either get from the Mystery Box or by opening a case in the Library. If you decide to open the case in the Library, you need to get four different colored Symbols. These are namely Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue.
The Symbols spawn at randomized locations, but we have all the known locations listed below where you can find the Symbols
Green Symbol: The locations for this symbol are in the Gardens, to the left of the Perk Machine outside a gate, OR to the right of the Perk Machine, OR inside the Gazebo in the Gardens, OR in the Greenhouse Terrace on the left side of the water fountain.
Red Symbol: You can find this Symbol in the Master Bedroom on the wall next to the fireplace, OR in the Dining Room above a large painting in the bar area, OR in the Wine Cellar at the base of the wooden barrels, OR in the East Gallery above a table and two chairs.
Blue Symbol: you can find this Symbol either at the Cemetery heading up the stairs to the Mausoleum, OR just exiting the Cemetery near a gravestone behind a tree, OR behind the Mausoleum on the first pillar to the right of the staircase, OR to the right of the Mausoleum on top of the Crypt.
Yellow Symbol: You can find this Symbol in the Forest Terrace either on the all to the right of the GKS wall buy, OR outside the right gate on a small ledge, OR on the wall that is left of the Bowie Knife wall buy, OR located outside of the gate, on a small ledge.
After you have collected all the Symbols, head back to case in the Library and input the code correctly. Once unlocked, you will have the weapon.
Upgrade Alistair’s Folly to Chaos Theory
At this stage, you are required to upgrade the weapon Alistair’s Folly to Chaos Theory. This upgraded version creates a cyclone like effect that helps take down multiple enemies at once.
To upgrade Alistair’s Folly to Chaos Theory, you need to first obtain Chaos Material, turn the material in to Priam Material, Find the Secret Room, and then craft the Chaos Theory
Chaos Material: this can be found after you kill a Werewolf in the Forest with Silver Bullets. Once the Werewolf is killed with the Silver Bullets, it will drop the Chaos Material for you to collect.
Prima Material: To convert the Chaos Material into Prima Material you need to head to the Greenhouse Laboratory and use the material on the machine in the middle of the first floor. This will start the refining process where you will get your Prima Material.
Secret Room: now you need to find the Secret Room in the Library. Equip your Ballistic Shield, and hit the Bookshelf that is along the wall to the workbench. Once hit, it will reveal a secret room which will have an item for you to collect on top of a pedestal.
Upgrade Alistair’s Folly: with all the parts ready, head back to the Greenhouse Laboratory and upgrade the weapon on the workbench located far right in the lab.
Upgrade Chaos Theory to Alistair’s Annihilator
At this stage, you are required to upgrade Chaos Theory to Alistair’s Annihilator. This weapon can be used to shrink enemies that are caught in its blast.
To upgrade Chaos Theory to Alistair’s Annihilator, you need to first find three different crafting parts. The parts are the Bat Chaos Material, Forest Part, and Nosferatu Chaos Material. The locations of each part are mentioned below:
Nosferatu Chaos Material: to get this material you need to kill three vampires with the Chaos theory in the Cemetery. After you kill the three, a red coffin will appear, which you have to interact to and fight a Vampire that comes out of it. Once defeated, you can collect the material.
Bat Chaos Material: to get this part, head to the front of the Mausoleum where you will find several lamps around the staircase area. Using Chaos Theory, shoot the slight orange lamps, where they will go out. Next you have to find and shoo the next lamp that glows orange.
Once you shoot all the lamps before the timer runs out, you will then have to kill a vampire bat that flies out of the light. Once the bat is killed, it will drop the Bat Chaos Material.
Forest Part: this part can be found in the Forest, where you will see lots of mounds of glowing mushrooms. When a zombie is near a mound, shoot it with a charged green Chaos Shot that will cause the zombie to dig the mound.
You should keep shooting the mounds until a zombie digs out a part for you to collect.
Craft Alistair’s Annihilator
After you have all the parts, head back to the Greenhouse Laboratory, and place the Bat Chaos material where you previously placed in the machine for Prima Material.
Once completed, place the Nosferatu material next. Once the material is collected, use the Workbench to craft Alistair’s Annihilator.
Dead of the Night Easter Egg Guide
This is the part where you are required to complete three challenge quests after you have done everything above, and are ready to take on the quests. With all the items you need in hand, you can now begin your hunt for this Easter Egg.
To begin the quests, you need to return to the Crystals that you used to recover the Tuning Forks. Interact with the Crystals that will show you three objects, a Knight’s Armor, an Effigy made of small sticks of wood, and a Telescope Lens
The Telescope Lens Quest
For this quest, you need to go to the Cemetery and shoot the metal rod on top of the Mausoleum with Silver Bullets until a beam of light appears, and points towards the statue of Atlas in the Main Hall.
Next you need to use this wheel to align the colored lights with the rotating parts above the Atlas’ head. Once aligned, the head will shatter and then connect o the Green house Laboratory’s telescope.
In the Greenhouse Lab, you will need to solve the rotation puzzle. Turn the middle wheel to the left to make it green. Turn the left wheel to the left to turn it blue. Turn the right wheel left to make it red. This will solve the puzzle.
Next you need to find three glowing Zodiac Symbols that can be found in random locations and marked with scratch marks that will tell you at which position they need to be placed. Below we have listed all the locations you can go to find the Symbols:
- Library: Towards the left of the case you got the wonder weapon
- Entrance Hall: the symbol can be under a back left table
- Main Hall: a Symbol can be on a pillar near the staircase
- Dining Room: on the wall near the green sofa
- Trophy Room: left of a small closet on a wall
- Billiards Room: under the chess board table
- Wine Cellar: near the Perk Machine, on the wine rack’s bottom row
With the Zodiac Symbols, head back to the Greenhouse Lab and insert them in the code device. If inserted correctly, it will not reset.
Next you need to equip your Ballistic Shield and help yourself and your teammates through the electricity raining on you. This will also turn your shield blue and electrify it. Head into the telescope and bash it with the shield.
Once you have all hit at the same time, a beam of light will appear on your screen, and a Stone Slab will appear below the telescope for you to collect. After you collect, you will have to fight waves of enemies. Defeat all enemies and pick up the slab.
The Effigy Quest
This quest covers the quest where you have seen an Effigy made of sticks in one of the Stones. To complete this quest, you need to go to the Cemetery and equip your Alistair’ Annihilator.
Locate the five trees with the falling leaves, and shoot it the branches with the Alistair’s Annihilator. Collect all the branches that fall from the trees.
With all the branches collected, you need to find a numbered gravestone that reads 1912 as the date of death. Interact with it to enter Spirit Mode, and use the Annihilator to hit the base of the scarecrow to light it on fire. Wait for the ground to burn, then enter the orange glow of fire until the player in Spirit Mode burns to death.
The burned player will go into Afterlife Mode, travel to the mansion interior to find a ghost. Escort the ghost until she begins to burn. Keep following her and a second Stone Slab will appear.
Interacting with the slab will again summon waves of enemies. Defeat the enemies and then collect the slab to complete this quest.
The Knight Quest
The last image that the stone have shown is the image of a Knight. For this quest, you need to find a Fire Gate Energy Core, which can be found around the map. Once you have the core, head to the Entrance Hall, and insert the core into the Fire Gate Trap.
When the Trap activates, use the charged shot from Alistair’s Annihilator to shoot at the fire, which will transform into a blue fire. Equip your Ballistic Shield and step in the fire which will turn the shield into blue fire as well.
With this fire Ballistic shield, you need to melee attack multiple fireplaces to light them up. This task is timed, where a fireplace will remain burning if you have meleed the correct one first. There are three set of fireplace that need to lit up:
- First Set: Smoking Room, then Library left and right, and then Billiards Room
- Second Set: Main Hall towards the left, then East Gallery, then Main Hall Right, then West Gallery
- Third Set: Trophy Room, then Master Bedroom, then Music Room, then Dining Room
Once you have completed this task, the last fireplace of each set will drop a crystal that needs to be collected. With all the three crystals, interact with three Knights located across the map. The locations of the Knights are:
- Cemetery
- Main Hall
- Gardens
Interact with each Knight one at a time. A crystal will appear from the Knight, where you need to escort the energy core to a randomly spawned ritual circle in the Forest. Bring all the Knights in the circle, which will spawn a Spectral Knight.
Kill the waves of enemies to charge the knights with the zombie souls. Once charged, they will lead to a Pack-a-Punch machine, forming a triangle. Once the triangle is formed, you need to kill a Werewolf in the triangle in order to spawn a Stone Slab.
Interact with the Slab, fight the waves of enemies, and then collect the Slab to complete this quest.
Final Boss Fight
With all the Stone Slabs collected, you can now go for the last part of this Easter Egg. Head back to the strange door to the right of the Forest. All the players in your team have to interact with the door at the same time to initiate the final fight.
The final beast will be a massive Werewolf, which has to be defeated in three phases. In the first phase, you need to locate a green marker in the arena. Once found, aim all of the statue lights at the marker.
Then lure the Werewolf into this trap, where it will become stunned and vulnerable to damage. Shoot the Werewolf until you see a Max Ammo spawn.
The second phase requires you to fight off large wave of zombies, catalysts and regular Werewolves. Defeat the wave until another Max Ammo spawns.
The final phase, you need to aim the lights to the green marker again in a different location where it may have spawned. Lure the Werewolf into the trap again, stun it and shoot until it is defeated. This will complete the Easter Egg.
