The Most Brutal Sporting Event Returns in Blood Bowl 3 Next Year

Blood Bowl 3

Nacon and Cyanide Studio have announced the third game Blood Bowl 3 in their brutal sporting event franchise. Blood Bowl 3 is slated for release in early 2021 and will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Steam, and Nintendo Switch. This is the third adaptation of the cult Games Workshop board game by the developer and aims to be the best one as well.

If you are not aware of the franchise, Blood Bowl 3 is a videogame of fantasy football that plays out like a turn-based strategy game and is heavily inspired by American football in the Warhammer fantasy world where elves, humans, orcs and other creatures fight for the ball. Some of the main moves of the game include shoulder charges, kicks, punches, and weapons of varying degree of lethality. You play as the coach of one of such teams and you must guide them to victory.

You will have to use every dirty trick in your arsenal such as hindering the progress of your opponents by positioning your players in the tackle zone, knock down those who get in your way, and break through to your opponents’ end zone to score a touchdown. Your units can gain experience and receive statistic bonuses or new skills however injuries are common in the game since the referee is a goblin and it tends to overlook most forms of violence. Some of the players may even leave the game limp or lifeless.

The game will use new edition rules, teams(Including the new Black Orcs and Imperial Nobility), units, and associated skills. The player who has the best strategy will be at an advantage however a single unfortunate roll of dice can change the course of a match. Blood Bowl 3 promises to be funnier, bloodier, and more spectacular than ever. You will get access to 12 races each with its own arena and a team of cheerleaders, campaign and multiplayer modes, and many customization options. The game will also receive regular content updates post-launch.
