How to Get Bloodborne Armor in Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island

Bloodborne Armor in Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island

This guide will show you how you can get the Bloodborne armor in Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island. The Bloodborne armor comes from the Bloodborne series, giving you two special pieces of armor coming from Yharnam.

The Bloodborne armor pieces you get for completing this shrine are:

  • Yharnam Helm
  • Yharnam Vestments

Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island brings a lot of new locations and items for you to obtain. This includes the special armors that can be obtained from Forgotten Shrines. These Shrines first need to be located and then require you to perform a special move wearing a specific armor to count it as complete and subsequently rewarding you the new Armor.

How to Get Bloodborne Armor in Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island

The Bloodborne Armor set can be obtained from the Blood Stained Forgotten Shrine in Iki Island. This Forgotten Shrine is far west on the Island, towards Gonoura Cape, where once you reach the shrine, you can first read the scroll placed right in front of the shrine.

Like we have said before, you need to perform a specific action wearing the right armor. This Forgotten Shrine requires you to wear the Kensei Armor and then heal yourself right in front of the shrine.

The Kensei Armor will likely be in your inventory as it is obtained by completing The Six Blades of Kojiro Mythic Tale. This Mythic Tale is part of the base game, so you can still complete it if you haven’t. The second requirement of the Shrine is to heal, but for that, you will first have to be injured or have some depletion in your health bar.

If you can’t find any enemies nearby, which is unlikely, you can wrap around the shrine to get to a higher location and jump down to take some fall damage. Now head right in front of the Shrine, wearing the Kensei Armor, and simply heal yourself.

This will then reward you with the Yharnam armor pieces for completing the Blood Stained Shrine.
