Defeat the Overlord of the Mournfolk in Bonfire, Demo Available on Steam

Bonfire Demo Steam

MoaCube has announced that their brand new title Bonfire now has a free lengthy demo on Steam. The free demo is now available on Steam and players who want to try out the free demo before jumping in the full game can do so now. Bonfire is a tactical RPG title that features a rapid battle system and heroes. Bonfire is all about building your hero any way you like and taking them to battle.

In Bonfire, Hildie’s world has collapsed and it is now up to her and her group of heroes who must journey through a desolate world that is well past saving. To ensure the safety of what remains in the world, Hildie now must destroy the Faceless Overlord of the Mournfolk. The quest might seem hopeless but Hildie is not one to back down just yet.

As you explore the world of Bonfire, levels will be procedurally generated. You will travel to gloomy places all around Mournfolk and expand your arsenal of tactical options. During your journey, you will also meet with plenty of odd survivors which will join your quest. The ultimate goal is however to survive until you reach the very end of the game. According to MoaCube, Bonfire is designed for endless play and is great for quick gameplay sessions.

Key features of Bonfire include:

  • Rapid and clickety-click RPG with deep tactics emerging from simple rules.
  • A cute-sad story about journey and failure told within a procedural structure.
  • Short, intense gameplay sessions of the “just one more…” variety.
  • More than enough room for going total nerd about builds, tactics, etc.
  • Showers of blood and golden coins!
  • This highly polished demo consists of six in-game areas.

At this point, players will only find the free demo of Bonfire on Steam. Bonfire is slated to release on Steam Early Access later this year on PC and Mac.
