Borderlands 2 Haderax the Invincible Guide – How to Beat, Get Toothpick Assault Rifle

In this Borderlands 2 Haderax the Invincible Guide, we will guide you on how you can defeat the raid boss Haderax the Invincible in Borderlands 2. In celebration of Borderlands 3, Gearbox has released a brand new DLC for Borderlands 2 called Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary with adds a brand new raid boss as well in the game. The brand new raid boss in the game is Haderax the Invincible.

Along with fighting the raid boss Haderax the Invincible, we will also share with you how you can obtain the brand new Toothpick Assault Rifle which has been added to Borderlands 2 with the brand new DLC. We have detailed both some tips on how to defeat the Haderax the Invincible raid boss and how you can easily get the new Toothpick Assault Rifle in Borderlands 2 easily.

Haderax the Invincible – Borderlands 2

Similar to other raid bosses in Borderlands 2, Haderax the Invincible is no easy boss to beat in the game. To make matters worse, it also comes with the ability to self-heal itself and you will have to counter this ability if you want to take down the boss. Also, the weak spot is very hard to fire at since it is located at the back of its head.

The first thing that you must do to beat this raid boss is to find a party. There’s a little baiting trick that only works if you are in a party so it is very essential to find a party before taking on the boss. Also if you use your own method to beat the boss, it will be much easier to do so while in a party.

After you have triggered the boss fight, you will notice that the boss moves around pretty quickly too which makes hitting his weak spot even harder if you spot it at the back of its head. The best time to deal some damage to its weak spot is when the boss lands a slam attack. Sometimes the boss will open its mouth so fill it with bullets when it does because that is a weak spot as well.

To take advantage of the bait trick, you must be playing with a party. Inside the arena, you will find different platforms where you can jump to. Send one of the players of the party to any one of these platforms and the boss will land the slam attack on them. This will give a very good opportunity for the rest of the players to deal some solid damage at the back of the boss’ head.

If enough damage is dealt, the boss will also get stunned giving you even more time to deal damage to it. Use this tactic as much as you like as it will greatly help you and your team defeat the boss quickly. Use the weak spots inside the mouth and the back of the boss’ head and you will easily defeat it without much trouble. I highly recommend that you use the Toothpick Assault Rifle and the Retainer Shield against this boss.

Getting the Toothpick Assault Rifle

The brand new Toothpick Assault Rifle added to Borderlands 2 is one of the best weapons in the game and if you get your hands on it. It fires two horizontal lines of five bullets at the same time which makes it super effective for crowd control. It comes with a chance of setting human enemies on fire and will give you an additional 50% melee damage bonus. It also boasts 100 Accuracy stat and an insanely high stat of damage output.

You can only obtain this weapon however is from killing Sand Worms and Sand Worm Queens so your best bet is to get to their spawning grounds and start farming them. You also have a good chance of finding this beast of a gun during ‘The Hunt is Vaughn’ quest. However, whatever the case is you will need to grind and kill some Sand Worms and Sand Worm Queens until you finally get the Toothpick Assault Rifle. This weapon is super effective against the raid boss.
