How to Defeat Dr Benedict in Borderlands 3 Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck DLC
Dr Benedict is a wicked surgeon and when the boss battle starts, he will be present on a surgical table as well. Start blasting at him and try to bring his shield down as quickly as possible. Keep at it and it will soon start to spawn ads. You can use a good cyro weapon to freeze the ads in place and focus on the boss instead. Like all other bosses, aiming for the head is always a good option and deals the maximum damage to the boss including his shield.
It is also good to understand all of the boss’s attacks so that you can counter them effectively. One thing you should know is that you cannot damage Dr Benedict’s orange shield. If you have to heal or reload, use this time to get back to your full form before the boss gets back to the offensive as you will not get too much time otherwise to heal or recharge your shields. As a last resort, keep an ad alive as well so that when you go down, you can quickly kill the ad and get back in the fight.
Now coming to the attacks, the main attack involves Dr Benedict’s blue laser. When he starts to shoot the laser, he will always move in a certain circular direction. As soon as the attack begins, you can start moving in the opposite direction to avoid the attack. When the laser stops, use the time to attack the boss and bring his health down but when the laser is active, try not to stop and shoot. When you see the boss chucking over the green poison, avoid it at all costs.
