Gearbox has announced that their upcoming title Borderlands 3 is now complete and has officially gone gold. This was revealed by the developer on the official Borderlands 3 Twitter account. The tweet also expressed thanks to everyone who has worked on the title. Borderlands 3 is slated to release next month on Xbox One, PC and PS4.
Borderlands 3 is the brand new title in Gearbox’s long-running franchise. It promises to bring with it tons of new features and weapons. The game features brand new vault hunters along with a new pair of villains that we will be going up against, the Calypso Twins. Players will be able to explore the areas outside Pandora as well which is indeed a first-time possibility in any Borderlands game in the franchise.

Earlier, we got to see a brand new trailer of Borderlands 3 which detailed Zane Flynt in action. Zane Flynt is a new character to arrive in the franchise. We had seen Zane earlier however the latest trailer for the game shared some more information on this new character. Zane is a semi-retired corporate hitman and comes with the ability to produce a holographic projection of himself on demand. He will also come with three skill trees. Gearbox has also included a ping system similar to that of Apex Legends which will allow players to interact with other players without actually speaking with them. Borderlands 3 also features more accessibility features as well which will help players in various ways to play the game. Gearbox also shared that there are no plans for having cross-play in Borderlands 3 right at launch however it might arrive in the game at some time in the future.
