Bus Simulator Gets Official Map Extension on Consoles

Bus Simulator Official Map Extension

Astragon Entertainment has just announced the Bus Simulator Official Map Extension for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This sees the inclusion of two additional city districts, a new transportation hub with an airport, and several additional road miles and challenges to engage in.

A trailer was also released giving us an insight over the new city districts and the routes of the map extension. Check the trailer below:

The two city districts are Kerststadt and Sonnstein that join the southern part of the main game map. While the university district of Kerststadt with its nearby airport is known as the region’s “TechHub”, the idyllic mountain village of Sonnstein counts as one of the most popular tourist attractions for nature lovers in Seaside Valley.

In addition to the new areas, you will also be getting nine new missions. These tasks will require the player to link the new districts, the airport and the various additional tourist attractions with the city center of Seaside Valley. The extended rod network which stretches over several miles now has 20 additional bus stops and varied landscapes with challenging road sections.

This can be more noticeably seen when you take the route from the Airport in Kerststadt and head to the mountainous village in Sonnstein. Bus drivers will be able to put their driving skills to the test when maneuvering their vehicles through narrow tunnels and tight serpentine curves.

Additional content includes a variety of new unlockable skins and stickers for your bus fleet, new dialogue between passengers, and new challenges for trophies.

Bus Simulator Official Map Extension is now available on consoles and it is available for $12.99 on each of the console’s online shop.

    1. After purchasing the Map Expansion DLC from the Xbox Store, you can access the new areas if you have completed all of the base game’s missions. The map is free to explore even without completing the missions but you will not unlock the expansion’s missions without first completing the base game.
