Have you bought Call of Duty Black Ops 4 yet? If you buy the physical copy of the game there will be a 50GB size update as a part of day one patch for the game. The size of the update is 50 GB while the size of the complete game is around 55 GB which means that the update will be patching a major part of the game. Without this update, players will not be able to play Multiplayer, Zombies or the Specialist Headquarters mode.

Players can jump in the Blackout mode without this update and according to Treyarch, Blackout can be accessed when the game is around 30% installed or downloaded. This means that players will be able to jump in the Battle Royale Mode pretty soon after putting in the disc in their console or starting the download after around 16-20 GB has been installed or downloaded.

Also, in order to smooth Blackout mode, the PC version of the game is capped to 120fps on launch. Treyarch said that 120 fps cap will be implemented for launch only. If the servers went stable for few weeks, the fps cap will be increased to 144fps. Even better, if the server progression further continues, the blackout will get uncapped fps at later stages.
