Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 campaign has some safes that contain rewards when you unlock them. If you have already played the game, you might have run into one in the various locations of the game. There are a couple more safes that you can find, with more unique rewards when you open them. Finding and opening all the safes will give you the Gentleman Thief trophy/achievement.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Safe Codes Guide
The game has three safes that you can find in the campaign.
Safe #1
The first safe can be found in El Sin Nombre mission, where it will specifically be in Diego’s room. The safe itself will be in the wardrobe which will require you to open it to see the safe. The code to unlock this safe is 02-02-19. Unlocking it will give you a Lockwood 300 shotgun and a plate carrier.
Safe #2
The next two safes can be found in the Alone mission, where the first one will be in a small office room, located inside the room where you will find a dying man. Open the door and enter the code 10-10-80 to unlock the safe and then you can pick up the .50 GS pistol and a throwing knife.
Safe #3
The second safe is also in the Alone mission where this time it will be in the garage. This area will come to you later on in the mission as you progress in it. You need ot enter the computer room in the mechanic’s shop to find the safe. The code for this safe is 37-60-80 and it will contain the Crossbow.
