Call of Juarez Gunslinger Nintendo Switch Release Announced by Techland

Techland has announced that its critically acclaimed wild west adventure Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is all set for a Nintendo Switch release later this month. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger was originally released back in 2013 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The game is now making a comeback on Nintendo’s flagship console and will also feature some exclusive features. The announcement comes after Techland teased a potential Call of Juarez title for Switch earlier.

According to Techland, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger for the console started its life as an in-house fan project however it unexpectedly transformed into a new platform release. The title also comes with some exclusive Nintendo Switch upgrades including Motion Control and HD rumble. The Nintendo Switch version will fully support the additional Nintendo Switch features.

Blurring the lines between man and myth, this adventure made of memorable encounters, unveils the untold truth behind some of the greatest legends of the Old West. Our Call of Juarez: Gunslinger journey really took us places, and we all agree the game is perfect for the Nintendo Switch. It actually feels like the Switch was made for Call of Juarez: Gunslinger.

In Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, players will track down the Wild West’s most notorious gunslingers including Billy the Kid, Pat Garrett, Jesse James and more as they blaze through stunning landscapes of the Old West. Players live their epic adventure in the shoes of a ruthless bounty hunter as they personalize their skills and master the weapon of their choice.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is releasing digitally on Nintendo Switch on December 10, 2019. US and Canada will also physical editions which will be published by Square Enix instead of Techland.
