Card of Legend: Awaken Angels Announces Steam Demo

Developer Anchor Node has announced that its trading card game Card of Legend: Awaken Angels is taking part in the upcoming Steam Next Fest. Starting October 14, 2024, you will be able to download and try a demo of this game which will offer a glimpse into its exciting gameplay modes, including a core roguelike adventure, a training tower, and competitive player-vs-player (PvP) battles. In addition to these thrilling features, you can also explore the unique card enhancement and collection mechanics that set the game apart in the TCG landscape.

To mark this debut, ANCHORNODE has lined up several exciting events for you to participate in. These include:

Wishlist Certification Event: You who add Card of Legend: Awaken Angels to their Steam wishlist and provide proof will earn exclusive in-game rewards, with the scale of the event determining the size of these bonuses.
Video Content Creation Event: You are encouraged to share gameplay videos, and the five most popular entries will win rewards, bringing a community-driven element to the launch.
Demo Build Playthrough Event: After playing the demo, you can submit a screenshot and a supportive message for a chance to win rewards through a lottery system.

Set in an immersive fantasy universe, Card of Legend: Awaken Angels introduces you to an epic narrative where heroes, supported by angelic beings, must stop the revival of an ancient demon lord. The game features 129 meticulously crafted angel characters, each with their own unique story. These angels blend seamlessly into human society, unaware of their divine heritage, adding a layer of intrigue to the gameplay.

The game offers a variety of modes, each providing a distinct TCG experience:

Adventure Mode (Roguelike): You build a 40-card deck and must survive over 10 challenging battles, aiming to defeat the final boss without a single loss. The innovative Blessing system offers strategic depth, differentiating it from traditional card games.
Training Mode (Tower of Trials): A standard 20-card deck is used in this mode, where you climb the Tower of Trials, gaining better rewards the higher they ascend.
Arena (PvP): Competitive multiplayer battles occur twice daily at 7 AM and 7 PM PT, with each session lasting an hour. Victories help you rank up and improve your tier.

Other notable features include the card enhancement system, where you can combine cards to upgrade their abilities, and the card shop, which offers guaranteed purchases. The card collection feature also allows you to keep track of their acquisitions, while a detailed tutorial ensures a smooth introduction for newcomers.
