CHIEFTEC has announced the launch of the new upgrades versions of their popular gaming cases with USB Type-C 3.2 Gen2x2 (20GBps) port. The cases getting the upgraded versions include Scorpion 3, Scorpion 4, Stallion 2, and Stallion 3, and the new models are now called GL-03B-UC-OP, GL-04B-UC-OP, and GP-02B-UC-OP, which will be available in June. Another new model GP-03B-UC-OP will release in July and after its release, there will be a transition period with old and new versions available on the market.
As CHIEFTEC explains, the new upgraded versions are designed to provide enhanced functionality and faster data transfer (20GBps) speeds. Players and PC users who want to buy the new upgraded versions should look for the model numbers with ‘UC’ in them and also check for the new Type-C logo which is now included in the packing of all of the new models. These four cases are the most popular ones in the current CHIEFTEC’s lineup of PC cases. Two of these models The Stallion 2 and Stallion 3 come with built-in RGB while Scorpion 2 and Scorpion 3 do not come with any built-in RGB so if fans want a stealth build, these are the options to go for.
