  • Footman

Chivalry 2 Classes Guide

Below we have detailed all the classes in the game.

Vanguard

  • Stamina: 100
  • Movement Speed: 120
  • Health: 130
  • Subclasses: Raider, Ambusher, Brute
  • Abilities: Quiver, Oil Pot, Trumpet

Vanguard is the best class you can choose from in the game, even though it offers the lowest health stats compared to any other class. The reason for this is because of the damage output this class has with the arsenal of high damage weapons.

In addition, there are three subclasses in Vanguard, where the Raider allows you to carry two primary weapons. Though this may sound good, you are more vulnerable because of your low max health. The Vanguard has high movement speed and stamina which makes up for the weakness.

Archer

  • Stamina: 60
  • Movement Speed: 100
  • Health: 100
  • Subclasses: Skirmisher, Crossbowman, Longbowman
  • Abilities: Banner, Quiver, Brazier

If you like to combat with ranged weapons, plan out your moves from a distance and attack the enemy with ranged shots from arrows and javelins, this class is the one for you. In addition, the Archer class has a special ability that charges faster when you land headshots on targets.

Archer’s stats will force you to keep your distance from enemies as they make you quite vulnerable. With really low stamina and health, you will find yourself relying on your long-ranged shots by staying away from danger.

Knight

  • Stamina: 80
  • Movement Speed: 80
  • Health: 175
  • Subclasses: Crusader, Guardian, Officer
  • Abilities: Trumpet, Banner, Oil Pot

The Knight is a more of a tank class with the highest max health, but really low movement speed and stamina. This shouldn’t come as a surprise because of its high health, however, the Knight is a pretty balanced class especially for beginners. This is because of the subclasses and what this class has to offer. It is also pretty forgiving, thanks to the high max health.

In addition, the subclasses in this class offer you a wide range of options to go for like the high damage dealing Crusader, or the well-shielded Guardian.

Footman

  • Stamina: 80
  • Movement Speed: 100
  • Health: 150
  • Subclasses: Field Engineer, Man at Arms, Poleman
  • Abilities: Bandage

Footman is the best support class you can have, thanks to the abilities and items that focus on defense and a good combat strategy. Each of the subclasses in Footman comes with one special ability which is the Bandage Kit. This kit heals your teammates and gives them bandages and health.

If you compare Footmen to Knights, the stats are pretty much the same except the max health has been slightly exchanged for movement speed. The movement speed, decent health, and the arsenal of two-handed weapons make it a handy class.
