Super Rare Games has announced that it is releasing the Power Rangers-inspired tactical RPG Chroma Squad physically for Nintendo Switch next week. Super Rare Games is known for its amazing physical releases and for preserving rare games in the form of special, boxed physical releases. Chroma Squad is the latest digital title to get a limited-edition physical release for Nintendo Switch by Super Rare Games and pre-orders will start next week.
Fans of the game now have a special chance to nab a physical copy of Chroma Squad however since this is a rare limited-edition, only 4000 copies will be made worldwide and pre-orders will start on August 13, 2020, 10 AM PT. The physical release for Chroma Squad will set you back around $31 USD and will be available exclusively at superraregames.com. If you want to secure your copy, you will need to be vary of the time when pre-orders start because the game is getting only 4000 copies and it will run out pretty quickly.
Staying true to their style, Super Rare Games will be adding all of their goodies in the physical release such as a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and three trading cards randomly selected from a five-card set. If you’ve never heard of or played Chroma Squad then you should know that it is a tactical RPG about five stunt actors who decide to quit their jobs and start their own Power Rangers-inspired TV show.
Your goal will be to cast actors, purchase equipment and upgrades for your studio, and craft weapons, and giant Mechas out of cardboard and duct tape. You will then control your cast of five colored-jumpsuit-clad warriors in dramatic, turn-based battles when the cameras start rolling.
