Lost Arcade Gem Clockwork Aquario Releasing on PS4 and Nintendo Switch Tomorrow

ININ Games has announced that the lost arcade gem Clockwork Aquario is finally releasing in Europe tomorrow on PS4 and Nintendo Switch. The game comes from the legendary developer studio Westone and the European release is set for November 30th while the North American release is set for December 14, 2021.

Clockwork Aquario has been lost for over three decades and now ININ Games and Westone have managed to bring this arcade gem back to life. To set your mood, the developer has released a brand-new trailer for the game as well that you can check out below:

The new release brings the same colorful side-scrolling action back to life as you play through beautiful, colorful, pixel graphics. The game features easy to pick, addictive side-scroller action and intuitive controls that ensure that you are always immersed in the action as you face baddies. You will be able to choose from your favorite character and conquer enemies and bosses both in solo and co-op modes.

You will hear the game’s iconic soundtrack as well which was composed by Westone legend Shinichi Sakamoto. Ryuichi Nishizawa chief publisher and co-founder of Westone said:

Clockwork Aquario is a great piece of 2D art, into which the pixel artists put their hearts and souls. I would like to express my heartfelt respect and gratitude to those who have worked so hard to restore it.

Previously, ININ Games and Strictly Limited Games revealed the game’s logo, key visual as well as a teaser trailer, and now the release is almost upon us. For Europe, Clockwork Aquario will arrive tomorrow for both PS4 and Nintendo Switch however if you are in North America, you will have to wait another 15 days to play the game on December 14, 2021.
