Com2uS Announces a New Series of Updates for Skylanders: Ring of Heroes

Skylanders: Ring of Heroes Update

Developer Com2uS has announced a new series of updates for Skylanders: Ring of Heroes which will be available to players in the coming days. The very first update for the turn-based mobile update is already out and it allows players to play through new relationships and claim a new legendary character as well while they are at it.

As detailed in the press release, the new update for Skylanders: Ring of Heroes comes with the following features:

  • New Relationships System – In a brand new Relationships system, players can group their Skylanders according to similar characteristics and earn rewards as they grow each group. It’s expected to add the fun of collecting and upgrading characters as numerous characters are bound to one character with relations.
  • New Skylander – Players can now claim the new Skylander Shadow King Pen, who is the first dark character that’s added after the light/dark summon system was introduced to the game and takes the form of a penguin. Just like the name King Pen, the character uses freeze skills to cut the flow of the opponent’s attacks.
  • New Portal-master – Gardener-turned-Portal Master Adriana gives enemies a terrifying blow with plant friends adapted to Skylands under the magic of Master Eon. She’s careful and delicate but uses simple yet definite damage to the enemies. Adriana’s friends, the magic-powered plants in the garden, are transformed by her instructions into gauntlets that are strong and bear the wrath of nature.

To enjoy the new content, Com2uS will hold various events in the coming days with various rewards for all players who participate in the events. During the events, players will be able to get various useful items such as the Skill Power-up Stones which are used to upgrade Skylanders.  Previously, Com2uS released another major update for Skylanders: Ring of Heroes which introduced a new summon system and brought another new Legendary Skylander with it.
