Publisher Kalypso Media and developer Raylight Games have confirmed the digital release date of Commandos 3 – HD Remaster. Commandos 3 – HD Remaster will release on Game Pass on console and PC on day one and will also be available standalone on Xbox One and Windows PC on August 30, 2022. After its release on Xbox One and PC, the game will also release on other digital platforms including PS4 and Nintendo Switch as well however a release date for these platforms will be announced later.
Commandos 3 – HD Remaster is the revamped HD version of the classic WWII strategy title which will put you and your special forces unit deep behind enemy lines. You will get to experience history across major frontlines, all reworked with 3D models and textures, improved controls, and a refined user interface. You will explore some of the most iconic WWII locations such as the deadly trenches of Stalingrad and the D-Day landing on Normandy beach.

Before its release, Commandos 3 – HD Remaster will also get a free demo on both PC and Xbox One that you will be able to try before buying the full game. The demo will also release along the full release of Commandos 3 – HD Remaster so you will have to wait until the game comes out before you can try out the demo. Kalypso Media will also release a physical edition in the form of Commandos Double Pack.
Commandos Double Pack will include both Commandos 3 – HD Remaster and Commandos 2 – HD Remaster. It will release initially on PC and Xbox One and will later release on other platforms as well. The release date of the physical edition of Commandos 3 – HD Remaster is the same as that of the digital edition.
