Company of Heroes 3 PC Launch Date Set for 17 November, Pre-orders Live

Company of Heroes 3

Relic Entertainment and SEGA Europe have recently announced the release date of its upcoming game, Company of Heroes 3, set for 17 November 2022. The game will release on PC via Steam and will be the next installment in the beloved RTS franchise.

The latest game in the series will bring the biggest and deepest single-player experience in the franchise’s history, for newcomers and veterans. With four playable factions that you can play with at launch, there are two unique single-player experiences, the Italian Dynamic Campaign, and the North African Operation.

Earlier this month, Company of Heroes 3 was available to try one of the missions of the game, after signing up for the community feedback program.  The mission gave access to one mission from the newly released North African Operation. In Mission Alpha, you take command of the infamous Deutsches Afrikakorps (DAK) as you attempt to repel the British from their entrenched positions.

Although the previously announced Italian Dynamic Campaign brings a more branching, open-ended experience, it is the North African Operation that is designed classically, with a narrative-led single-player experience. A wealth of new mechanics has drastically changed the battlefield in North Africa, where tank-riding enables coordinated rapid-strike assaults that can obliterate the enemy.

You can also call upon the powerful Italian units, like the Guastatori combat engineers and the L6/40 Light Tank.

Moving on to the pre-order bonus, if you pre-purchase the game, you will get access to bonus items at launch. The Digital Premium Edition of Company of Heroes 3 comes with the Devil’s Brigade DLC Pack, containing cosmetics based on the first elite commando units of World War II.

Then there is the Physical Premium Edition, which includes the Devil’s Brigade DLC Pack, Service Medal, Pocket Compass, Collector’s Book, and a lot more.  Both the Digital and Physical versions will give you access to the game’s first expansion, coming to Steam in 2023.
