You can check out the launch trailer of Conan Exiles: Age of Sorcery below to get a small taste of what you can expect from the new free chapter of the game:
As Funcom details, the launch of Chapter 3: Age of Sorcery is the best time for new as well as veteran players of Conan Exiles to experience the game. The fully redesigned Journey System allows you to easily find and explore any content in the game by simply selecting the Journey that you wish to discover and follow the tasks it specifies. The system also ensures that it does not sacrifice the openness and freedom of Conan Exiles in any way. In Age of Sorcery, you will explore countless secrets, master every aspect of war, crafting, and building, and earn valuable rewards with every Journey you complete.
Golem Shaping is a brand-new feature added to the game that allows you to explore the world to collect and assemble your own golem from various parts and materials to create a powerful guardian. You will be able to command the golem to destroy your enemies or have it harvest materials for you on its own. This will make harvesting materials a breeze and will allow you to focus on other tasks in the game rather than just grinding for basic resources all of the time. Age of Sorcery will also conclude the main story of the game where you will encounter a new boss Kurak, the one responsible for the spread of sorcery in the Exiled Lands.
After completing the story, a new age will follow however Funcom will release details on that at a later stage. The developer will continue to release both free and paid content for the game and the next Age will introduce another three major chapters of free content, accompanied by an array of themed cosmetics in the Battle Passes and Bazaar Shop. Additional details about this will be released in the future when the publisher is ready to showcase the upcoming adventure.
Conan Exiles is currently available on PC, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Game Pass for both Windows and Xbox.
