Astragon Entertainment and weltenbauer.SE have announced that their digging and construction game Construction Simulator 2 US – Console Edition is heading to Nintendo Switch. The game is being ported to Nintendo’s flagship device due to popular demand of the loyal fanbase. This is the first time that players will be able to build, dig and construct on Nintendo Switch anywhere they go.
Construction Simulator 2 was released earlier on mobile devices however the title is now being ported to Nintendo Switch where the developer weltenbauer.SE is making sure that fans of the title receive a very refined product. The game will offer players access to more than 40 originally licensed and faithfully recreated construction vehicles and machines by world-renowned manufacturers and brands.
The game will support different play modes that the Nintendo Switch console offers. The game will support handheld and TV mode while players will also be able to play in the table-top mode with the Joy-Cons removed from the system. Players will get to experience 60 challenging construction jobs as they will keep the players busy for a long time. Check out the Nintendo Switch announcement trailer below.
The jobs in the game range from excavation missions, delivering construction materials, controlling gigantic tower cranes to pouring concrete for the asphalting or refurbishing of roads in the fictional US state of Westside Plains. Players will be able to build their own gigantic towers in the game right from scratch.
Fans who cannot wait to play the game on Nintendo Switch must come to Gamescom 2019 where Construction Simulator 2 US – Console Edition will be available for extensive testing on the platform. astragon Entertainment will be available in their booth located in Hall 6.1, B-054 in the Entertainment Area from August 21 to 24, 2019.
A confirmed release date for the Nintendo Switch release has not been announced yet however the title is planned to come out in the next couple of months.
