After surpassing 1 million sales for the entire franchise, the developer Vertigo Gaming has announced the third part of cooking franchise Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! And is bound to arrive in January 2020. Vertigo announced that the game is already in development and the first phase of the game will arrive in January 2020 in the form of Steam Early Access. The biggest highlighted feature of the upcoming title is the addition of Food Trucks in the game.
Cook, Serve, Delicious! is one of our favorite cooking franchise and it was only recently that we reviewed the console release of Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!. Either time flies very fast or it is indeed very near to the release of the previous title that we now have a confirmation of the next title in the franchise and it arrives in nearly 6 months which is amazing. Vertigo Gaming has shared details of their plans for the upcoming game and we’re really hyped for it already.
In Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! Players will travel across war-torn America to participate in the Iron Cook National Food Truck Championships with their trusty robot crew Whisk, voiced by neraoryx and Cleaver voiced by havanarama. The year is 2042 and the game features a brand new story-driven campaign where players will get to cook hundreds of foods and some of the dishes are brand new for the franchise.

The trailer is exactly what you would expect from a Cook, Serve, Delicious! title. It shows intense gameplay which requires precision and a heavy emphasize on time management which we love. However, we can also see that there are some food truck battles going on in the game which involved actual firing in the game. Let’s see how this post-war and being on the road setting affects the core gameplay.
The gameplay structure has been completely redesigned for the third game and the game now also comes with a Zen mode where players can cook in peace and without the time heavy focus of the normal campaign mode. The game will support both solo and local co-op. The food truck will be upgradeable and can be made better as players make progress in the game. Food catalog will be ever-expanding as players race to the USA’s new capital in Nashville, Tenessee.
