Corsair has just revealed new products to its iCUE line, where it has brought an improved iCUE Software that will help users download the software easily, and start customizing and controlling their systems immediately. In addition, there is iCUE LINK Smart Component Ecosystem which allows PC builders and newcomers to build their PCs with a single-cable technology to set up the hardware.
The single-cable technology is patent-pending, but it will reduce the time to build and set up your new performance PC, drastically save as much as 50% of your time, and dramatically reduce the hassle of cable management. This means that there are no more wire nests, connection hubs, PWM, and RGB splitters to clutter your PC.
Corsair achieves this with the help of a built-in microcontroller in individual iCUE LINK components that act as a “brain” that communicates with the System Hub. This opens up new possibilities such as the Time Warp RGB lighting mode that uses a strobing effect to make it appear as if your fans are frozen in place or spinning backward.
This feature encompasses a wide range of products which includes fans, AIO coolers, custom cooling components, and more. The first iCUE LINK products are said to be launching this month with the new System Hub. The patent-pending QX120 and QX140 RGB are the world’s first fully digitally controlled fans, equipped with a proprietary Magnetic Dome bearing, a digital temperature sensor, and quad RGB light loops. The new iCUE LINK RGB series of high-performance liquid CPU coolers feature stunning lighting and hidden wiring for a flawless look.
As for the improved Corsair iCUE Software, the file size of the software has been dramatically reduced. The new modular architecture of the software will recognize and include only the settings that you need for your connected iCUE-compatible devices. This organized and optimized version of the software will optimize your system resources.
The iCUE Software is now fully supported on the Elgato Stream Deck devices, thanks to the enhanced dedicated plugin. This allows more iCUE settings accessible on the Stream Deck, a new stylish icon display.
At the Computex 2023 event, Corsair announced its 2000D Mini-ITX cases with a small form factor. Earlier this year, Corsair launched two gaming headsets HS55 and HS65. The company also released the TC100 relaxed gaming chair and a new RMx Shift ATX 3.0 PSU.
