CORSAIR Navigates Towards Acquisition of Fanatec, Leading Sim Racing Hardware Brand

CORSAIR, a renowned technology company listed on Nasdaq under CRSR, has officially disclosed its intent to engage in exclusive negotiations for the acquisition of Endor AG, the parent company of the globally acclaimed Fanatec brand specializing in sim racing hardware. This strategic move underscores CORSAIR’s commitment to expanding its presence in the simulation and gaming peripherals sector.

The negotiation involves CORSAIR providing funding to address Endor AG’s immediate financial requirements while concurrently working towards a restructuring of Endor’s debt, estimated at around €70 million. The successful completion of these negotiations will pave the way for CORSAIR to assume ownership of Endor AG and the revered Fanatec brand.

Andy Paul, the CEO of CORSAIR, expressed enthusiasm about the potential acquisition, highlighting Fanatec’s esteemed reputation and dedicated community. “Fanatec is an incredible brand with a strong community, and we believe CORSAIR is the ideal home for Fanatec’s loyal customers, employees, and business partners,” stated Paul. He emphasized that this transaction would alleviate Endor’s debt burden and position the company for sustained growth and expansion of its product portfolio.

The sentiment of optimism is reciprocated by Endor AG. Andres Ruff, CEO and Chief Restructuring Officer of Endor, expressed satisfaction with the prospect of joining forces with CORSAIR. “We are very pleased to have found a strategic investor in Corsair who knows our market well and wants to invest for the long term,” mentioned Ruff, indicating a shared vision for growth and innovation.
