Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Shortcuts Guides

Below we have detailed all the shortcuts of the tracks in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.

Mystery Caves

The shortcut in this track is to the left after you go past the first set of turtles. However, the mud inside the shortcut actually slows you down, and using boost may be a waste.

Crash Cove

The shortcut in this track is after the first left turn. When you reach the ramp, you need to jump over it to gain a speed boost and then use the momentum to jump from the pool of water and into the small hill or grassy platform on the mountain wall.

Sewer Speedway

This is a tough shortcut to get to but can save a big chunk of time if you can go through it. To get to the shortcut, you need to use triple boost and jump late when you are committed to going towards it. It requires speed and perfect timing but becomes easy when you get used to it.

Slide Coliseum

Though the track is like any race circuit, you can actually go over the apex and cut the corner by driving over the grassy patches. The whole circuit has a lot of such apexes with grassy patches that you can corner cut through. The strategy to go through all such corners can save a lot of time at the end of a lap.

Roo’s Tubes

This track has a ramp that you can hop over with enough speed. This will allow you to drift across the dirt and save a lot of time in the end.

Coco Park

This shortcut can be found before the tunnel in this track. The best way to go through this shortcut is by drifting all through the grass mount on the left to save more time.

Papu’s Pyramid

There are a few shortcuts in the track. The first little grass patch you can cut through is found as you reach the top of the pyramid. Drift along this grass to cut around the first plant. This will lead you to another small shortcut that you can jump across to the small pillar ahead.

Right after the pillar, there is a wall to the left, though you cannot link it with your previous shortcut. It is a wall that you can go into but does not save you a lot of time to attempt going through it. However, after the last location, use your boost and hop off the right of the ramp. Turn right sharply, and you will land on the other side of the track. This saves a good few seconds.

Tiger Temple

This shortcut can be accessed during the Time Trial, but during races, you need to hit it with a bomb or missile to open the door.

Dingo Canyon

There is not really a shortcut in this track, but you can cut the corner near the sand at the start. It works best if you have some sort of boost to go through it.

Polar Pass

In this track, you will see a lot of turbo pads when you reach the open water area. Jump from the very right of this platform to jump across the water to land on the track on the other side. When you launch from the ramp, angle yourself to the right to reach the other track. With boost and turbo pads, you can reach the other side easily.

Dragon Mines

The shortcut in this track can be found right before you see the wooden spiral, where you can follow a mine cart up the tracks to bypass. This is a tough shortcut to master and is only good in racing situations.

Blizzard Bluff

A little shortcut in the track is to the left of the pillar where there is a short gap you can go through. Another shortcut that follows is after the first boulder and ice rink. If you have boost you can jump over this small hill and land on the other side. There are two hills or fences that you can attempt, but the left one is trickier than the right one.

Cortex Castle

A shortcut in this track is on the platform on your left, from the clocktower where you can jump on to.

Hot Air Skyway

When you reach the first couple turbo pads in this track, jump from the end of the ramp from the right. You will land on  a part of the track sticking out on the right.

Inferno Island

The shortcut is right at the start of this track. After the first bridge, you can go left and jump from a small bump to cut through the rocks. However, its only good for races and not time trials.

N.Gin Labs

A little shortcut on this track is from the turbo pad that comes after the rolling barrel section. You can jump from here to the left and land on this turbo pad which is faster than the normal route.

Jungle Boogie

In this track, you normally jump down to the lower level. But you can instead jump down and hop on to a wall on the right. The next shortcut is on the long bridge section where the bridge on the left is. This will save a lot of time.

Android Alley

In this track, you will see a big glass window, with the direction pointing left. Go straight through this window and you will reach the other side, saving a lot of time.

Clockwork Wumpa

In this track, the arrows pointing to the 3 gears are your shortcut. Jump on the gears and power slide to get across to save time. Be careful and don’t fall off.

Tiny Temple

A shortcut in this track is after the muddy area with the wires where you come to the green stone path. On your left is a jump that you can easily make if you have boost.

Meteor Gorge

In this track, take the shortcut before you jump on the ice and hop over the small hill that leads the path to a turbo pad at the end of it. towards the end of the lap, use the turbo pad to jump over a gap and land on a stuck out path on the other side.

Out of Time

At the start of this track, look to the right of the 2 ramps with the “!” box you can drift across the sand here. From this shortcut, another follows if you have boost to hop over the right-hand side. Once you exit the clock building, jump to the left of the ramp and land on the left of the gap on the other side.

Barn Ruins

Once you come out of the tunnel, a small hut can be used to boost over the small wall directly ahead.

Retro Stadium

Cut across the grass and save some time.

Hyper Spaceway

In this track, and after you come out of the first portal, drop down to the left and follow a pathway through the mountain. It’s best if you can do this all with the super boost from the portal.

Assembly Lane

You can jump over the wall ahead and to the other side if you are boosting by using the small hill.
