In a surprise announcement, Studio MDHR has announced that the previously PC and Xbox One console exclusive game Cuphead is now available on PS4. Cuphead is one of the coolest looking games of this generation featuring its amazing 1930s cartoonish visuals and soundtrack. Apart from featuring a brilliant art style, Cuphead is also known for its really had gameplay and boss fights that will have you snatching your hair out.
Cuphead is a brilliant run and gun action game that is set in the fictional lands of the Inkwell Isles. The game offers both singleplayer and local co-op multiplayer where you can play as the Cuphead and Mugman as they try to save their skin from The Devil. To do so, they must collect the souls of massive bosses that will keep you on your toes and will test every last of your wits. The gameplay is solid and it combines it with visual art that reminds you of the cartoons and animations of the early 1930s.

As revealed on the Official PlayStation Blog, the trailer for the announcement of the PS4 version is actually a stop-motion reveal trailer developed especially for the game by Toronto-based studio Stop Motion Department. The trailer is based on none other than the off-kilter style of 1993 experimental short The Peanut Vendor. Further details about how the trailer was made can be found out on the official blog post.
Cuphead is now available on PS4 and you can jump in the amazing action game if you missed it out earlier. You will be happy to know that Cuphead’s upcoming DLC ‘The Delicious Last Course’ will also release on PS4 at the same time as other platforms. Previously, Netflix also announced a brand new Cuphead animated series that is currently under works.
