Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games right now and people have been asking about the requirements of the game. While nothing has been confirmed we do know about the demo PCs that were running the game at E3 2019 and the year before that. What will Cyberpunk 2077 look like on consoles?
The Cyberpunk 2077 demo at E3 2019 and 2018 used top of the line PC that cost thousands of dollars and fans were a bit worried that the game would not look the same on console and lower-end PCs. CDPR has now confirmed that the game will look amazing on consoles and lower-end PCs as well. But if you do have a really expensive gaming PC then obviously the game will look even better.
CDPR talked about the RED Engine and how it is very customizable. Here is what the developer had to say about Cyberpunk 2077 on consoles:
we have a very custom engine, the RED Engine. And actually, we’re targeting consoles as first-class platforms and it looks amazing there. So obviously, if you spent, you know, $2,000 building your PC rig, it’s going to look better on that. But the graphics are quite amazing for what you’re going to get from Cyberpunk 2077 on consoles and low-end PCs.
The game is coming out next year and so are the next-generation PS5 and Xbox Scarlett. It is possible that these upcoming consoles will get better graphics or higher FPS. CDPR has not confirmed this but the developers have mentioned that it is something that it is considering.
CDPR has also mentioned that it could introduce modding in the future. That is something that fans are looking forward to. The developers have confirmed that the game can be beaten without having to kill anyone.
