New DLC for Horror Title Darq: The Crypt Announced by Unfold Games

Darq: The Crypt

Unfold Games has just announced Darq: The Crypt DLC which is going to release alongside the console version of the game called Darq: Complete Edition. The Crypt DLC will continue Lloyd’s adventure where you left off.

While there are not many details about the DLC, a steam page for the DLC has provided some information and what to expect from the expansion content. The game will now have more areas to explore and new game mechanics that you will notice straight away.

The base game was all about solving puzzles and navigating through scary enemies that popped out from nowhere. Dark: The Crypt DLC will bring in more puzzles to add in to the unique gameplay experience. The details also mention that you will need the base game to access the DLC, but you are not required to finish the game to access The Crypt DLC.

The announcement is pretty fresh right now, which means that there is no release date confirmation. However, the details do mention that the DLC is going to release in the fourth quarter of this year, which means anytime in the next two months.

Lloyd’s adventure continues. This time he explores a mysterious crypt full of dark surprises. This the final DLC for DARQ. It comes with:

  • New game mechanics (now Lloyd can switch between controlling his body and his head)
  • Large and detailed environments to explore
  • New puzzles (more challenging than in the rest of the game)
  • New achievements (some are very challenging to unlock)

We might have to wait for additional details about Darq: The Crypt DLC, but we expect more information to show up in the near future as we head closer to the unrevealed release date.?
