PS4 Exclusive Days Gone Coming to PC with Ultra-Wide Monitor Support in May 2021

Bend Studio has announced that its open-world zombie survival game Days Gone, which was previously a PS4 exclusive, is coming to PC in May 2021. Bend Studio detailed that Days Gone will arrive on PC on May 18, 2021, and will come with plenty of additional features including support for ultra-wide monitors. Announced in an official blog post via PlayStation Blog, the studio released a brand-new PC gameplay trailer and additional details about the PC release as well.

Starting with the most obvious one, Days Gone on PC will support ultra-wide monitor setups which means that you will be able to able to play the game in 21:9 resolution. The game will also feature unlocked framerate which will allow players to fight Freaker hordes of up to 500 Freakers at the same time. Apart from the resolution, the game will also feature plenty of new graphical customization options including the level of detail, foliage draw distance, and more. Apart from the keyboard and mouse, the PC release will fully support a large number of 1st party and 3rd party controllers.

The game’s photo mode has also been updated for the PC version as it will now come with a super-resolution photo mode to capture the game in all its widescreen glory. You will be able to share your photos with other fans of the game and the developers via their official social pages as well. Days Gone follows the story of Deacon St. John who is a former outlaw biker. Now he is a drifter and bounty hunter who is trying his best to survive in a post-apocalyptic world that is full of dangers.

Pre-orders for the PC release of Days Gone are now live on Steam and Epic Games Store on PC. You can also the game to your wishlist on Steam as the game will unlock in just 4 weeks from now.
