Publisher Buka Entertainment and developer LUDUS FUTURE have announced that their 2D hack-n-slash adventure Demon Skin is coming to consoles. Demon Skin will release on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on September 30, 2021, and will feature a deeper, richer adventure thanks to a brand-new playable chapter not released on the PC version of the game at launch.
The new chapter will be accessible halfway through the main story of the game and will throw players into the past where they will explore events before the main game. PC players will be happy to know that the new chapter will drop for them free near the end of June while the console players will get the full base game and the bonus chapter right at launch. Some of the key features included in the patch include added save points, remapped gamepad controls, extra combat animations across multiple weapons, dialogue skip options, an all-important character death counter.
The complete list of improvements and additions can be seen over at the official patch notes for the update. The developer has also shared a detailed story of Demon Skin’s production that you can check out as well. Demon Skin is a dark fantasy brawler that features tactical stance-based combat and perilous platforming elements. Your journey will make you face tons of demons, devious traps, and hulking bosses.
