How to Beat the Armor Spider Easily in Demon’s Souls

The very first thing that you should know about fighting the Armor Spider in Demon’s Souls in that the boss is weak to magic. If you not using a Magic Wand, then make sure that you imbue your sword or melee weapon with the Sticky White Slime. This will allow you to deal additional damage to the boss as you are exploiting its weakness. Armor Spider comes with plenty of different attacks and each attack requires a different strategy.

Right after you enter the boss’s lair, it will start shooting flame balls at you. These will come in three or two balls so make sure that is start dodging instantly. These are a little hard to dodge but if you are good at dodging, you will easily dodge the attacks. When you get close to the boss, it will slam its stinger down on you so make sure that you not under the spider for a long-time. You can use this to your advantage and land some additional hits without worrying about the stingers. With this small trick, you can cause the spider to smash the ground and give you a small window to attack it quickly for some quick attacks.

From the slam attacks, the boss will take a second or two to recover, giving you a good time to get it there and land some quick attacks. Look out for its front leg attacks too which come from both sides. Simply block them and you should be fine but the attacks are quick so you must block them quickly. Keep at it and you should be good to go. When the boss’s health is around 40%, it will start spraying fire towards you. When you see it happening, immediately stop attacking the boss and start running towards the tunnel where you came from. Keep running and don’t stop until the fire stops spreading.

Once the attack is over, go back to the boss but watch out as the boss might throw some webs at you or its fire balls. Fire balls will damage you and the web will slow you down making you less efficient in fights. Make sure that you dodge whatever comes your way. Get back to the boss and continue fighting it with the same strategy as last time. The boss will eventually die. Killing the boss will reward you with 5950 Souls and the Hard Demon Soul.
