Boss Souls are an important element in Demon’s Souls because not only do they provide an immense amount of power to your character, but they can also be used to acquire some of the most powerful weapons and spells in the game. Certain merchants in the game will gladly take these Boss Souls off your hands in exchange for a powerful weapon or a spell. This is why you must know how you can acquire these Boss Souls in Demon’s Souls and what each Boss Soul will get you. Our Demon’s Souls Boss Souls Guide details all Boss Souls you can acquire in the game, along with how you can acquire them and what you can exchange them for.
Boss Souls Guide – Demon’s Souls
While you may find different types of souls scattered around the map as you explore the game, the Boss Souls are not found anywhere in the game that easily.
What Are Boss Souls?
To acquire these Boss Souls, you must find and defeat different bosses in each map, and once you defeat a boss, you will acquire their souls. Once you acquire a Boss Soul, you can either consume it for additional souls or exchange it at different vendors for powerful spells or weapons. Depending on your build type, you can exchange the Boss Souls for either powerful Spells, Miracles, or Weapons. Weapons will do you no good if you are a magic build, and similarly, spells will do you no good if you are a melee build, so make sure you make the right choice based on your build while playing the game.
It is also important to understand that you can only obtain a single Boss Soul once per playthrough because each boss appears only once in a single playthrough, apart from the Vanguard Demon’s Souls, whose soul can be acquired twice in a single playthrough. If you want to unlock another bonus tied to a single Boss Soul, you will need to complete the current playthrough and start another one with the current save file.
