Just like the Leechmonger, the Dirty Colossus is also extremely weak to fire, so you will benefit greatly if you come equipped with Fire Spells or Pine Resin to set your melee weapons on fire. Once the battle begins, the focus of your attack should be the boss’s abdomen because it is its weak spot, and you must break the armor here to deal proper damage. If you are a Magic build and are sticking to the sides, the boss will shoot insect balls at you, so make sure that you dodge them because these attacks will damage you continuously for some time. The boss is pretty slow with its attacks, so you can easily see these incoming attacks.

If you are using a Melee build, use a Pine Resin to set your weapon on fire and get in there to attack the boss. You must give the boss time to land an attack and then go in for attacks.
