Fool’s Idol Boss Battle Guide – Demon’s Souls
Our Demon’s Souls Fool’s Idol Boss Battle Guide details everything that you need to know about defeating the Fool’s Idol boss in Demon’s Souls.
How to Defeat Fool’s Idol Easily in Demon’s Souls
After you enter the boss’s area, ignore all enemies in the area, and make a beeline for the boss sitting at the end of the arena. Get to the boss quickly and start hitting her without giving her a chance to retaliate. Keep hitting the boss until she disappears and appears later along with her clones sitting at various places in the area. Each of them will now start attacking you in the same attack pattern. Make sure that you avoid stepping in the green circles in the area and while sticking to the left side of the arena and using the large columns as shelter, move to the backside of the arena.
The real Fool’s Idol is sitting at the very end of the area. When you reach the end of the arena, give the boss a little time to land an attack on you and then quickly go in and start attacking her. Keep attacking her and when her health is around 30%, she will disappear again and then appear with even more clones this time around. The real one is still sitting at the back where you already are so simply find a window when all of the clones have attacked and go in for the final kill. This time, if you get a good window, you will be able to easily kill the boss. Defeating the boss will reward you with 8430 Souls and Doll Demon Soul.
It is extremely important that you kill the boss’s followers before starting this battle. Otherwise, you will have to fight the boss twice as the follower will revive the Fool’s Idol. First, fight the follower and kill him and only then go back to the boss fight and trigger the boss fight. Also, there is a chance that in your case, the real Fool’s Idol may not spawn at the end as well. If this is the case, look for the on firing the biggest Soul Ray attack and she will also not have a health bar at the top of her head.
