Demon’s Souls Leechmonger Boss Battle Guide – How to Defeat, Tips & Tricks

Leechmonger is one of the grossest bosses in Demon’s Souls because it is a boss literally made of leeches. You will encounter the Leechmonger in the Valley of Defilement. Despite it staying in one place and not moving around, this boss can still stir up trouble around itself because as long as you stick closer to the boss, you are continuously taking a small amount of damage if it manages to get some leeches stuck to you which means that even if you avoid the boss attack, you will still need to heal yourself continuously during the boss fight. This boss is literally a glob of leeches stuck together, so it matches the area it is found in. Our Demon’s Souls Leechmonger Boss Battle Guide will help you defeat this boss easily in the game.

Before heading into this boss fight, you must have some Pine Resin for melee builds and Sticky White Stuff for Magic builds in your inventory. The boss is very weak against both of these items, so you will need to set your melee weapons on fire or use Sticky White Stuff to increase your Magic damage for this boss. For ranged players, you can head to the upper level of the boss arena directly and pick any location to start your onslaught. You only need to avoid its Leech Balls coming at you because even after the initial damage, some leeches will stick to you, and you will continuously take damage.

For melee players, use Pine Resin to set your weapon on fire and head in for the fight. Nearly all boss moves are fairly slow, and you will see them coming, allowing you enough time to dodge and roll out of the way. Stick close to the boss and keep an eye on your health because leeches will continuously stick to you and damage you. Keep yourself healed and put the pressure on, as Leechmonger can also heal itself if you do not attack it for a few seconds. Watch out for its slam attack because not only does it damage you immensely, but a successful dodge gives you plenty of time to jump back in and deal some serious damage.
