Below we have detailed how to defeat Maiden Astraea in the game.

How to Defeat

There are two ways to take on this boss battle with Maiden Astraea, and both the options will end with you being victorious in the end. The first option is to attack Garl Vinland and the worshippers before going to Maiden Astraea, or you can straight away go to Maiden Astraea after taking out the worshippers, and then deal with Garl Vinland later.

If you want to make things easier, you can attack Garl Vinland first and then head over to talk to Maiden Astraea, who will proceed to kill herself from suicide. You can attack her if you want and the normal boss battle will begin.

The other option is to fight Astraea and then you can go to Garl Vinland, who will not attack you until you provoke him by attacking first. You can, however, reload the game and you will find Garl Vinland dead with all the loot dropped at the location.

Now let’s first talk about both the boss’s attacks. Starting with Garl Vinland, who uses his Mace to attack you by smashing in front of him, and swinging it from right to left. Both the attacks can be dodged, but the mace smash leaves Garl vulnerable as he recovers from the heavy attack. You can take this opportunity to get close to him and sneak in a few hits of your own.

Another attack that both Garl Vinland and Maiden Astraea use is God’s Wrath. This attack takes time to hit, which gives you plenty of time to hit the boss while it is busy casting the spell. Finally, Garl Vinland also uses a healing spell that heals him over time. This is another opening for you to hit the boss, interrupting his healing process.
