Maneater Boss Battle Guide – Demon’s Souls
Our Demon’s Souls Maneater Boss Battle Guide details everything that you need to know about fighting and defeating the Maneater boss in the game.
How to Easily Defeat Maneater in Demon’s Souls
You can use magic to your advantage in this boss battle as well. Before the fight, imbue your weapon with magic as it will deal extra damage to the boss. The main problem in this boss battle is that the fight takes place on a very tight bridge and if Maneater hits you with its charge attacks, you will easily fly off the bridge and die. There are different broken statues on both sides of the bridge, but the boss can break them away easily making you fly off the bridge. Also, the boss has wings so even if he goes over the bridge, he just flies back over.
Maneater is not too deadly with his attacks but he attacks with ferocity and most of his attacks have great knockback which makes them deadly. Apart from dodging the boss’s attacks here, you also have to ensure that you stay on the bridge. Careless rolling around will cause you to fall off the bridge and die. You have to watch your stepping excessively here. Apart from his melee attacks, the Maneater also has a ranged attack so stepping away from the boss is not much help either. In this case, I will recommend that you try and stay close to the boss but for the charge attacks, make sure that you get to some distance from the boss so that you can easily determine the path of the charge attack.
Keep chipping down at the boss’s health and eventually, you will trickle it down to nearly 30% where the second one will appear. It is important that you do not take too much time with the boss as well because the second Maneater shows up even if you take too much time with the first one. For this very reason, you need to defeat the first one as quickly as possible because fighting two Maneaters on the same bridge makes the game absolutely brutal. If for some reason, you are stuck with two, you can just follow the same strategy but make sure that you focus on the first one and get rid of it as soon as possible before tackling the second one.
