Our Demon’s Souls Penetrator Boss Battle Guide details everything that you need to know about defeating the Penetrator boss in the game.

How to Easily Defeat Penetrator in Demon’s Souls

Don’t be fooled by the fat guy holding the ax at the start of the battle as the real boss has to make an appearance yet. When the boss does show up, you will notice that the boss is extremely aggressive and will constantly be on the offensive. This means that you have to be quick on your feet as well for your dodge. I will recommend that you farm a little before this boss fight for some souls and increase your stamina a bit as this boss battle requires a good amount of stamina for a fair fight.

Also, as the name suggests, the boss loves penetrating and comes with a weapon that is made for penetration as well. His sword is pretty long and has an exceptionally long reach. However, one thing is for sure that the boss is completely melee. It will charge at you with charge attacks with its sword and in close range, it will keep swishing its sword around itself quickly that will chop you down quickly if you do not get out of harm’s way. There are some statues in the area as well but using them as the cover is no good because the boss can destroy them with one hit.

Your best offense is the defense in this boss battle so you have to dodge a lot. For this, you need to try to dodge and end up as close as the back of the boss as possible so that you can land an attack or two before you have to dodge the next attack again. Notice that these windows for attacking the boss are extremely short. The boss also lands heavy attacks and will take around a second to recover from them so you can use them to your advantage during fights as well.

When the boss’s sword lights up with fire, make sure that you get out of the way because this is a very powerful attack and greatly take away your health. However, the boss takes a second to charge the attack and then land so it gives you a chance to escape the attack before you are caught in it. Roll to the back of the boss and land some quick hits before getting back at cover. Be quick on your feet and keep chipping away at the boss’s health and you will soon kill it. Defeating the boss will reward you with 35850 souls and the Silver Demon Soul.

While the boss is completely manageable in solo, if you are having some trouble with the boss, you can always get some extra help for the fight. Before the boss fight, go back to the arena where you fought the Tower Knight and free Biorr of the Twin Fangs from his cell. You will need the Iron Ring Key for this fight and then fight and kill the Fat Official guarding him to finally free up Biorr. Free him and he will join you for the fight.
